SUMMER 2019 SHOWS ANNOUNCED!!

*All shows will perform the weekend of September 21st and 22nd at the Copley Auditorium @SD Museum of Art

SOUL

Directed by Araby Harrison, Assisted by Adam Barker
Rehearses: Saturdays from 11am-2pm
First Rehearsal: Saturday, June 15th

We’ve done a Motown show in the past, but this will cover even more than that one. We’ll spotlight the great Soul musicians of all time: Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, Ray Charles, The Supremes, The Temptations, Wilson Pickett, Jackson 5, Stevie Wonder, Booker T & the MGs, and many more. This is a dream show for both beginners and advanced musicians as it will feature some of the greatest songs and parts ever composed. Could these songs be the greatest musical achievement in U.S. history?? Quite possibly.

OZZY VS. DIO

Directed by Adam West, Assisted by Drew Pelisek
Rehearses: Saturdays from 2pm-5pm
First Rehearsal: Saturday, June 15th

Ozzy and Dio together at last! This is less a “Vs.” show and more a celebration of both musicians’ contributions to the heavy side of things. We’ll focus on their solo careers, but we might throw in some of their Rainbow, Sabbath, and other contributions too.

EPIC ALBUM: LED ZEPPELIN I & II (50th Anniversary!)

Directed by Drew Pelisek
Rehearses: Tuesdays from 6-8pm
First Rehearsal: Tuesday, June 11th

The legendary first two records in Led Zeppelin’s catalog are just as vital today as they were 50 years ago. These songs are absolute classics and every riff, groove, and melody are forever burned into the history books. If you’ve never done a Zeppelin show, now is the time. Seriously, this is essential.

RUSH

Directed by Tyler Ward
Rehearses: Thursdays from 5:15pm-8:15pm
First Rehearsal: Thursday, June 13th

What can I tell you about Rush? The songs are long! The parts are hard! The vocals are high! This is a fantastic challenge. Come get nerdy with us!
