GUITARISTS AND VOCALISTS WANTED!
There is a really cool event this Sunday at Balboa Park called MAKE MUSIC DAY. It's an event that encourages people to play music together and we are running the guitar section. We need as many guitarists and vocalists as possible to come and sing/play a couple songs with Tyler and Araby. Super easy, no memorizing. Should be fun! You just have to come to Balboa Park from 12:30-2. If you want to come and help/play, email Tyler right away and he'll give you the details. tward@schoolofrock.com

House Band results
Alright, here's the deal. After careful consideration, we've decided to accept you all into our Summer House Band. Booyah! This is for a couple of reasons. One, we know a bunch of you have some Summer trips, so having a few extra hands will be helpful. Two, we think this specific crew will make a good team. There was a good vibe in that room.
I'm not going to lie, some of you guys might not be ready and will have to work really hard to keep up. Still, every single one of you who auditioned has the right attitude at the school and I think you all deserve a shot at this thing. So kill it! Work hard and earn it! Check the Cast Lists section later today or tomorrow for your first batch. I'll see you all on Tuesday!

Moat Swimmers update
I posted the new recordings (the 5 you sent me), 2 songs of typed lyrics (I still need these from Danielle and Abi). Practice your songs a bunch this week and make sure you understand the form of all your tunes.
Next week we'll discuss: Album title, artwork, new titles for "Something Later" and "Corn Away", and which songs you'll play at the Preview Show.
